SpectroSMC is an "Intelligent Device Module" that simply plugs into the SpectroBUS18 PICmicro development system. All of the complexities associated with controlling servos are dealt with by the microprocessor on the SpectroSMC Device Module. This allows you to send simple control commands without having to be concerned with the details normally associated with using R/C servos.

Features:

  • Supports up to eight servos.
  • Position servos through their maximum range of motion, typically more than 180 degrees.
  • Positioning resolution of 2 microseconds yielding a decimal position range of approximately 0-1200.
  • Support for two servos modified for continuous rotation, perfect for robot drive systems.
  • Advanced positioning algorithm that allows all servos to be moved at the same time producing fluid like movements.
  • Accepts standard type servo connectors (Futuba-J type).

SpectroLCD is an "Intelligent Device Module" that simply plugs into the SpectroBUS18 PICmicro development system. All of the complexities associated with controlling a Liquid Crystal Display are dealt with by the microprocessor on the SpectroLCD Device Module. This allows you to send simple control commands and characters to be displayed without having to be concerned with the details normally associated with using LCD's.

  • Comes complete with ribbon cable, LCDA1 adapter board and a backlit 2 row x 16 character LCD.

    • LCDA1 - Adapter board for displays that have a 1 x 14 or 1 x 16 single row connector
    • LCDA2 - Adapter board for displays that have a 2 x 7 or 2 x 8 double row connector
